As we gear up for fall, join me in welcoming to our newest Studio Staff Instructors. Ms Gina Theesfield and Ms Emily Grant. These outstanding creatives are the perfect addition to our “sunny side of the street” art school. We’re now able to provide you with more tailored offerings, exceptional guidance, inspired ideas, and insightful instruction. Gina and Emily bring more of the joy and enthusiasm that The Studio is known for. I’m so excited for the creativity that’s sure to flow and grow this year.

If you’re ready to pick up a paint brush, but not sure where to begin, let’s get you in here! Check out our latest guided paint&sip parties, make it a date, and register for your favorites. We think you’ll soon be inspired to make art a part of your routine.

Get into pottery classes for adults with Instructor Jack Holt as your mud throwing guide. Jack is an accomplished local potter with years of teaching experience and a fine arts degree in ceramics. Find your own creative joy with clay under his expert tutelage.

You’ll find our programs listed under the ART CLASS, POTTERY and PAINT PARTY tabs. Offerings include programs for children, teens & adults. You’ll find summer programs for creative kids, guided painting & art parties, ceramic painting, pottery making, home school & after school programs. Our creative workshops, scout outings, & paint & sip parties can be tailored just for you or your special occasion.

Make a Studio date with family & friends for ceramic painting by appointment, or drop in during our designated ceramic painting hours on most Saturdays. To book a guided paint party, a Scout badge workshop or a ceramic painting event, simply call us to make arrangements.

The Studio is your best stop to find the world renowned paints and sundries crafted by our famous friend, Annie Sloan. We brought this specialty line to Northern Illinois decorative painters over 16 years ago. Reach out for information, how-to instruction, color consultation, and inspiration. To complete your crafting or home furninshing projects, The Studio is your local source for the freshest designs from the innovative sisters at Iron Orchid Decor. These offerings include transfer and inlay designs, stamps, moulds and tools to embellish and beautify your projects.

A special thanks to our parents who entrust their children to our care each week. It’s truly a joy to work with them at the art table. We appreciate all of our Studio patrons who support and enrich The Studio experience. You help to make this little art place as wonderful as it can be.
