In our summer drawing class, students will learn all of the fundamentals of drawing, from light and shadow, to composition, to proper use of materials. This class will provide students with a solid foundation which can be later applied to any medium or style of art. Students will build their artistic abilities and improve their confidence as artists by drawing from life and improving their observational skills. We will work primarily in pencil and charcoal, though other mediums may be explored.

While The Studio will provide drawing materials, please bring your own sketchbook to class (9×12inch minimum size).

New subject matter will be presented in each 2 day session.
Class meets on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm.
