2 Sessions $180 Trial Period
This is a hands-on trial period in pottery designed for beginners seeking a low-pressure introduction to the craft. Students will receive close instruction in the foundational techniques of wheel-throwing. Session includes basic clay preparation, centering and forming simple vessels. Materials, tools, and clay are provided. Pieces created during the course will not be kept unless students opt to pay a small fee to cover finishing, glazing, and firing costs.

3 Sessions $210
Mondays, Sept. 8-22nd OR 15-29th, 6-9 pm

4 Sessions $240
Mondays, Sept. 8-29th, 6-9 pm

Whether you’re drawn to functional forms or experimental designs, the 3 and 4 session class supports your creative exploration and is tailored to your individual goals. Pottery will be kiln fired twice; pieces are fired to bisque, then painted/glazed and fired once again to achieve the finished state. Expect to throw in your first two classes, trim in the third, glaze in the fourth week. Your finished work will be ready to go home after its final firing. Materials, tools, clay and glazes are provided.
