For the young clay builder age 6 to 9! This class focuses on fun skills & building methods. Learn to create pinch pot, coil & slab. score & smooth, decorate & glaze. Use natural earthenware clay for our guided, made-by-hand projects. Pottery will be kiln fired twice; first to bisque, then painted/glazed, and fired once again to complete the process. Pieces will be ready to pick up after the final firing.

Expect to hand build projects in the first class, glaze in the nextclass, then return to pick up your finished pieces the following week.

Class fee includes supplies; clay and glazes, use of tools, and firing fees.
Max number of students 12, minimum 6.

*Handbuilding knowledge and technique mastery is a pre-requisite to wheel throwing.
