Construct your own art pieces in earthenware clay. You can build a skill set that enables you to design the shape, size and decoration of your imagining using traditional building methods. You’ll engineer your projects using earthenware clay and combining the pinch, coil, and slab methods.

Expect to hand build projects in the first 3 classes, glaze during the fourth class, then return to pick up your finished pieces the following week.

Handbuilding knowledge and technique mastery is a pre-requisite to wheel throwing. Students may advance to the wheel at the instructors discretion.

Class fee includes all supplies; clay and glazes, use of tools and firing fees.

Teens grade 8 and up, Wednesdays from 1-3pm, two hour classes
Fee; $168/4week session, max # of students 10, minimum 6.
