HANDS ON POTTERY
Youth & Teen, grades 6 and up

Take a break from your screen to explore working with natural stoneware clay. The sensory experience of hand building engages and calms the mind. Your hands and a few simple tools allow you to create an unlimited variety of unique forms. Building skills, such as shaping, attaching, carving, smoothing, surface design and glazing, grant you the freedom to develop your creative voice at the potters table.

This workshop features building and glaze days. Pottery will be kiln fired twice; first to bisque, then painted/glazed, and fired once again to complete the process. Pieces will be ready to take home after the final firing.
Class fee includes supplies; clay, glazes, use of studio tools, and firing fees.
